Frequently Asked Questions
-
What if I have two left feet?
You’re in the right place! Most of our students start with little to no dance experience. Our instructors specialize in teaching beginners and break everything down step by step, at a pace that feels comfortable. If you can walk, you can dance. We’ll guide you every step of the way.
-
Can I come without a partner?
You can take lessons with a partner or come by yourself. If you come on your own, your instructor will be your partner for the lesson. One on one lessons allow you to progress faster since all of the time is dedicated to your learning.
-
Am I too old to learn?
Absolutely not. We teach adults 18 and up, including those with joint replacements or limited mobility. Dancing supports healthy movement and mental well being. Your instructor will tailor your lessons to you so you can learn comfortably and safely.
-
What kind of dancing is it?
We specialize in ballroom and Latin dancing, teaching a variety of partner dances that range from smooth and elegant to energetic and fun. Lessons are designed to help you feel comfortable, confident, and excited to dance as you progress.
-
What do I wear to a lesson?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. You do not need special dancewear to get started. Dress shoes work best on our floor, and sneakers are not recommended.
-
Can you work around busy schedules?
Yes. Lessons are scheduled by appointment, allowing flexibility for busy schedules. We will work with you to find lesson times that fit your availability.
-
Can you choreograph our first dance for our wedding?
We prepare couples for beautiful first dances by focusing on connection, movement, and confidence on the floor. This allows you to enjoy your dance fully rather than worrying about remembering a routine.
-
Are group classes and social parties open to the public?
Group classes and social parties are for members only. As a club, we focus on building a connected dance community. Our new student special is a great way to explore the studio and see if it is right for you.
-
How much do lessons cost?
Your overall investment in dance is based on your goals and desired pace of learning. New students begin with our $35 New Student Introductory Special. Our professional instructors are trained to design a lesson plan specifically to help you achieve your goals.
